Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is all the rage today. It promises shiny software ‘robots’ that can replace humans for a range of data entry and other routine tasks.
Just one problem: brittle robots have caused many to become disillusioned by the technology. Any change – to the data entry screens, data formats, or requirements – can break the bots.
Furthermore, the industry can appear more focused on impressing us with new buzzwords—RPA, IPA, BPA, DPA—than by actually meeting current and future business needs.
But what does this mean for the future of automation?
To understand this, we’re going back to basics and reimagining the RPA playbook. On June 8th, we will have an open discussion about RPA’s full potential, as well as how the proper technological infrastructure can set you up for success in automation.
